Theatre Education

I was born a thespian and my love for the theatre naturally led me to become a theatre educator!  I currently run three elementary theatre programs through the Head Royce School in Oakland and Convent of the Sacred Heart in San Francisco. Every year and each program is different, however classes always focus on the development of theatre and life skills- focus, imagination, teamwork, listening, improvisation, confidence, storytelling- through drama games and through the development of a final play. Depending on the size, child age, and time line of the class, the final production may have costumes, sets, music, and dance or it may be a bare bones piece based upon improvisations and stories developed in class.  Whatever the class, importance is placed on focused play, hard work, respect for cast mates, and most importantly fun!

In addition, I also offer private voice and small group acting classes to children 3rd grade and up at my home studio.
