While most of the past year has been spent focused on ‘The Precipice’, I have recorded a few tunes up at TRI that are not part of the show. I figure that this is a good space to share some of those tracks!
Written by Miranda Ferriss Jones and Produced by Bob Weir up at TRI studios, this track was recorded in December 2010. Jeff Chimenti on piano, Jay Lane on drums, Rob Wasserman on bass. Engineered by Rick Vargas and Brad Dollar.
Written by Vince Guaraldi. In December of 2011, after a long day up at TRI recording songs for ‘The Precipice’, I asked pianist Jeff Chimenti and engineer Rick Vargas if we could record this Christmas classic as a gift for my Father. They generously agreed; we did one take, burned it onto a CD, and the next day I flew home to Vermont. Dad says it was the best gift he ever received; that’s my father for you- fan number 1!
